Web Award Winner

Advicenow is a winner of the Plain English Web Award, for the clear language, design and organisation of the site. Our site has plenty of original material, and we also help people find relevant and helpful information from other organisations.

Our information service brings together the best information on the law and rights from over 200 UK websites. We don’t use a search engine, every link has been hand picked and summarised by our team of experienced advisers.

Our Features pages contains a range of articles including topical issues and news items on changes in the law, quizzes, polls and more detailed information designed to increase knowledge and understanding of the law and rights.

Advicenow is a project of Advice Services Alliance, the coordinating body for independent advice services in the UK. ASA members including adviceUK; Citizens Advice; DIAL UK; Law Centres; Shelter and Youth Access are our main partners along with other leading advice and information providers.

Advicenow is currently funded by the the Legal Services Commission, the Ministry Of Justice and the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation. We are grateful for previous grants from the New Opportunities Fund, now the Big Lottery, and the Treasury's Invest to Save Budget.

Advicenow also runs the Public Legal Education Network website at www.plenet.org.uk.
